The invention

Naxan products are made from the most technologically advanced and innovative Resysta® compound consisting of pulverised natural fibre from the hard protective husk of rice and polymer reinforced with proprietary fillers. This proprietary technology developed over a period of 25 years makes Naxan products the leading natural alternative to timber in looks, feel and performance without the disadvantages associated with timber or wood plastic composites.

Naxan products can be sanded, stained and sealed just like timber and repaired when damaged. They can be brush-finished or sprayed with water-based coloured stains.

The natural fibre used in Naxan products is highly insulative and therefore prevents the surface of products from getting hot compared with other composite materials. The products are known to withstand the harsh weather conditions in Australia and is not averse to salt and chlorine water. Naxan decking and cladding products have a BAL-40 fire rating for bushfire prone areas and offer exceptional durability, strength, stability, speed of installation and low maintenance.

The decking product also meets the BCA C1.10 requirement for flooring with Critical Heat Flux (CHF) value of (L) 10.5 kW/m2 and (W) 11 kW/m2 and Smoke value (L) 235% min and (W) 260% min. In accelerated aging tests using aggravated weather conditions equivalent to 15 years, the Naxan decking product showed no signs of degradation, exceeding the performance of hardwood and other composite materials.

In the last 10 years, 1000+ projects have been accomplished world-wide.
